ASGS was proudly selected to deliver demolition and remediation works for the prestigious Adelaide Oval Redevelopment Project. This appointment reflected our proven track record in handling highly complex projects where safety, precision, and heritage preservation were paramount.
The scope of works included comprehensive asbestos removal, the design and construction of temporary piling systems to support critical structures, and the design and installation of a structural support system to safeguard the heritage-listed colonnade wall. The project also involved the demolition of the grandstand, executed with precision to minimise disruption, along with civil works and full site remediation.
Due to the significant heritage value of several structures, ASGS implemented stringent vibration monitoring every 10 lineal metres, adhering to European vibration guidelines. This ensured that heritage walls and surrounding infrastructure were protected throughout the demolition.
The project was delivered with meticulous planning, a focus on heritage integrity, and the highest safety standards. ASGS’s successful delivery of this landmark redevelopment reinforced our position as a trusted leader in sensitive, large-scale demolition projects.
